Homestead Solutions, Inc. is a Non-Profit HUD-Certified
Housing Counseling Agency. We work with homeowners that are
at risk of, or are already having difficulties keeping up
with their mortgage payments. We help the homeowner take
any necessary action to avoid the foreclosure.
As a HUD-Certified Agency, you can feel confident that you are not
getting involved in a scam. There are no up-front fees and
we are truly here to help. We are funded by a grant through
the US Government, so in most cases there is no fee for our
services.
With foreclosures at an all-time high, homeowners need
somewhere to turn when they are having trouble making their
mortgage payments. Our Certified Housing Advisors can
explain all your options. Whether you want to keep your
house or sell it, we can guide you on the right path to
avoid the foreclosure.
The process is easy. And once you begin working with us,
you will find that much of the stress you are experiencing
will go away. You will know you are in the right hands.
Because we are funded by HUD, we follow a very precise
process to ensure that all our clients are treated fairly,
equally and in a timely manner.
THE PROCESS
STEP 1: Fill out our
INTAKE FORM.
This form provides us your contact information, details
about your situation and information about the mortgage on
your home. This form will be submitted electronically to our
office.
STEP 2: Print
CLIENT PACKAGE You must have a way to view PDF files. Click here to install Adobe Acrobat that will allow you to view and print our client package.
After completing the
INTAKE FORM, print
out the
CLIENT PACKAGE. Read
it carefully. Fill out the following documents:
- A
- AUTHORIZATION TO RELEASE INFORMATION – This notifies
your lender that you will be working with a HUD-Approved
Agency.
- B
- FINANCIAL STATEMENT – This provides our staff with
household income and expense information. It is
important that you are as complete and accurate as
possible.
- C - HARDSHIP LETTER – This letter gives our Housing
Advisors details of your situation, and what happened
financially to make it difficult to pay your mortgage.
STEP 3: Fax (920) 236-3313, mail,
email or drop off items A,
B, and C to our office. Only after we have received the
Intake Form and the Client Package will our staff contact
you (usually within 48 hours) to set up a time for you to
speak with a Foreclosure Intervention Advisor.
If you have any additional questions, or do not have a
ability to print out the Client Package, please contact our
office at (920) 230-3324 or 877-275-2423.
